Just passing by

She left home. Her mummy was taking care of her little brother and she had to go on an errand. She should find food, wherever it was. She went over London streets, listening people yelling. She asked herself why they shouted so much. The only thing she knew was that everybody insulted that ugly woman from the street posters, but she didn’t understand why. She just had to find food, she was just passing by.

Hours later, some policemen blocked her safe way home. She had to get too close to the yelling, she had to go to that street. She never knew who or what it was: maybe the mounted police who went towards her, maybe the incendiary object aimed at him. And she could never ask her mum.

Even though she was just passing by.

Broken Promise

Full of dirt, walking through the streets, he was looking for some milk. He felt weird that day; nevertheless he had promised to his children that they will have the best breakfast of their lives. He found the dairy but it was closed. He came back home.
Suddenly, he heard someone’s sobbing, he entered in the room, and in that moment, he remembered that that day he didn’t come back from the miner strike. He couldn’t have the opportunity to give that superb breakfast, he would never forget that day of 1984.

Thatcherism

A policeman was seeing the scene while a lot of people were drinking beers  and bottles of wine speaking all together: "! She is dead! ".
The phrase is a play on words with Thatcher's famous declaration “This woman is not going to change ", that she declared in a speech in 1980. And a bottle of milk was placed on the verge of her house. Though the Thatcherism lived, live and will live.

Terrible situation

Terrible situation. Privatizations, reductions, destruction of the miners ‘strike, existence of wildly unpopular poll tax, thefts, and others disgusting things. The story that I am writing now it is focus on a young child who lives in a poor family. This lovely family hardly has money to buy food. The parents are unemployed. They only want his son can grow like a happy child. Suddenly, an evil witch decides to steal milk for schoolchildren.

Iron Maiden

1984. The coal miners' strike started some months ago. I'm waiting for my dad to come. He is in a protest march claiming for our rights. We don't have enough food since the strike started. I'm hungry. I go outside to look for food. Suddenly I see her: the responsible of our misfortune.
